Clean and soak urad dal- and rice for 1 to 2 hours.
After that grind to a smooth paste. Let it ferment for some hours
Clean and add tuar dal- in pressure cooker.
Also add chopped onion, chopped tomatoes, salt, haldi, red chili powder and cook for 2 whistles.
Heat little oil in a Kadai, add red chili and mustard and cumin and let it crackle
Now add Hing to it.
Add cubed bhindi to it and let it cook.
Now add boiled dal to this and also add samber powder and mix.
Finally add lemon juice and salt to it if needed.. samber is ready
For uttapam.. chop onion, tomato and capsicum
Bring out the batter and add salt to it and mix properly.
Heat a tawa and pour a small ladel of batter to it. Spread the chopped veggies on top and sprinklittle salt to top.
Cover and cook the uttapams adding little oil.
When the down part is cooked, turn it and cook.
Similarly cook all the uttapams
Serve hot with a bowl of pipping hot samber
